I am Craig Kahler. I currently serve on the DeWitt Public Schools Board of Education, a position I have held for two years. I was selected from a field of 13 applicants to fill a vacancy in October, 2007. I am running for the Board of Education for a four-year term that begins January 1, 2010. Biography

I was born in southeast Michigan and lived in various communities in Macomb and Oakland counties until relocating to DeWitt in 2003. My family and I chose DeWitt because the values and culture mirrored the community we were leaving and we were confident it would be a perfect fit. We were right.

I attended Hillsdale College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in May, 1985. I have had the good fortune of working with several of the finest professionals in their respective fields and have benefited from their experience and wisdom.

I have been married to Linda for nearly 20 years and we have two children, Audrey and Adam, who both attend DeWitt Public Schools. Audrey is in 9th grade, Adam in 4th.

I have a strong record of community involvement including:

  • Rochester Kiwanis Club - Active Member, Board Member, Co-chair of annual Music in the Park Concert Series
